“Don’t Expect Buhari To Defeat Corruption Alone” – Ganduje

By Amechi Idumuebor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has said that the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government cannot defeat the monster of corruption alone.

Ganduje, who said this during an inspection of ongoing renovation work at the state’s Public Complaint and Anti-Corruption Commission headquarters in the state capital, yesterday, pointed out that the anti-corruption war should be a collective effort involving the three levels of government – the federal, state and local  – to be effective and far-reaching.

The governor charged the anti-graft commission in the state to prosecute anybody found guilty of graft in the state, without exception, promising not to interfere in the commission’s fight against sleaze in the state.
