Ortom Says He Remains Committed To The PDP, Rejects APC

By Franca Joseph (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Mr Samuel Ortom, the Benue State Governor, has reaffirmed his commitment to the ideals of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), as he rejected the invitation extended to him by his former party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), to return to its fold.

The governor made this known during the PDP congress to elect a new state executive committee of the party, laying to rest suggestions in some quarters that he had defected to the APC.

Some notable persons who were present at the congress on Saturday include former Senate Presidents, David Mark, and Iyorchia Ayu, as well as the three Senators representing Benue at the National Assembly.
