How Dare You Tell Us How To Worship God! Pastor Chris Oyakhilome To Pres. Buhari

By Lillian Ogbonna (AGENDAWTCHDOG) – President of Believers Love World, otherwise known as Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, has carpeted the post-COVID-19 measures put in place by the Nigerian Government to limit the number of worshippers and time duration for church services, which are meant to stem the spread of COVID-19, saying Christians should not be restricted from serving God the way they liked.

The popular televangelist barked out this challenge during a live broadcasts, where he faulted government’s attempt to regulate the body of Christ, saying the children of God should not be restricted in the manner they chose to serve their God, adding that not even President Buhari, nor any other human authority for that matter, should determine the manner God should be served.

Pastor Chris further warned that the hours being prescribed by some persons in positions of authority for Christians to spend in Church service were the same number of hours left for such persons to live on earth.

Following the planned reopening of Churches, consequent to the COVID-19 induced shutdown of worship centres across the country, some preventive measures, such as reduction in the number of worshipers and hours of service, were among others put in place by the government to stem the further spread of the virus.
