Profiling Lagos State’s Free Academy For Youths In Creative Industry
By Olivia Isibor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Following shrill calls by the country’s legislators for the immediate sack of the country’s service chiefs, Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, has said that the president will act at the appropriate time and with the interest of Nigerians uppermost in his heart.
Adesina, who made this submission while speaking as a guest on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily, stressed that the appointment or sack of Service Chiefs was a Presidential prerogative, adding that his principal would ensure that whatever decision he ultimately takes on the fate of the service chiefs would be in the interest of Nigerians.
Consequent to the mounting security situation in the country, the Senate had adopted a resolution on Tuesday, calling on the Service Chiefs to resign or be sacked.
