Edo Guber: APC Accuses State Govt Of Vandalizing Ize-Iyamu’s Campaign Posters

By Olivia Isibor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Following the purported destruction of its outdoor billboards and campaign posters by yet to be identified individuals, the Edo State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused the Edo State government of masterminding the attacks.

The APC disclosed this at a media briefing on Saturday, where the Vice Chairman on Media and Publicity of the party’s National Campaign Council, Patrick Obahiagbon, described the purported acts of vandalism as a pointer to the abusive character of the Godwin Obaseki administration.

According to Obahiogbon, the purported mass destruction and removal of the APC’s billboards at various strategic points in Benin City by Governor Obaseki, alongside his unguided and highly adversarial media outbursts, were provocative and capable of instigating a response that could result in a worst case scenario.

The APC has forwarded a petition to the Edo State Commissioner of Police and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), according to Obahiagbon.
