COVID-19 BRIEFS: Nigeria Records 463 New Cases, Taking Total Infections To 33,616

By Olivia Isibor (AGENDAWTCHDOG) – The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed Via a tweet on Tuesday night that Nigeria’s COVID-19 infections had risen with 463 new cases, taking the total number of infections in the country to 33,616.

Breakdown of the fresh infections, which cut across 16 states of the federation, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, are as follows: Lagos-128, Kwara – 92, Enugu – 39, Delta – 33, Edo – 29, Plateau – 28, Kaduna – 23, Oyo – 15, Ogun-14, Osun-14, FCT-12, Ondo-9, Rivers-9, Abia – 8, Bayelsa – 5, Ekiti – 3 and Borno – 2.

NCDC notes that a total of 13,792 patients have recovered and been discharged, while the country’s fatality toll stands at 754.
