Edo Guber: It’ll Be Interesting To Hear Oshimohole Recant The Terrible Things He Said About APC’s Ize-Iyamu – Philip Shaibu

By Olivia Isibor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu on Friday said it would be interesting to see how the sacked immediate past National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adams Oshiomhole, would retract his comments about his party’s governorship candidate in the forthcoming September 19, 2020, Gubernatorial Poll in Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, whom he called a “thief”.

Shaibu said this while addressing the media at Uzairue, Etsako West Local Government Area of the state, intoning that it would be contradictory for Oshiomhole who once described Ize-Iyamu as a “thief” and Godwin Obaseki as a “team player”, during the 2016 governorship election campaign, to attempt to retract his statement.

On the chances of Governor Obaseki at the poll, Shaibu pointed out that the incumbent governor would sweep the poll as  Oshiomhole had already helped make him popular, adding that the projects so far executed by the current administration had endeared it to the people who wanted it to continue in office.
