UK Set To Resume Visa Applications In Nigeria

By Franca Joseph (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The British High Commission in Nigeria is set to resume visa applications for Nigerians intending to travel to the United Kingdom.

This was contained in a statement released by the Commission on Thursday, in which it disclosed that it would resume visa application processes as soon as it was safe to do so, adding that there were many Nigerians eager to travel to the UK as soon as the subsisting ban on international air travel was lifted.

Following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Nigerian Government, in March, placed an embargo on international flights, as part of wider measures to stem the spread of the disease.
