#Magu: “EFCC Raid On My Guest House Was In Error” – Abdusalami Abubakar

By Lillian Ogbonna (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – In reaction to reports that operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, on the orders of Ibrahim Magu, its suspended chairman, raided his Minna residence, former Head of State, Abdulsalami Abubakar, has revealed that the purported raid on his guest house by agents of the EFCC in 2017, was in error.

The retired military General disclosed this via a signed statement issued by his military assistant, J. Mfon, in which the former military ruler said that though operatives of the anti-graft agency stormed his guest house, no search was conducted as the officials later realised they were there in error.

Magu is currently being investigated by a presidential panel over allegations of financial impropriety and gross official misconduct.
