Ondo: Deputy Speaker, One Other Suspended, Majority Leader Resigns

By Bonita Onyeka (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The Deputy Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Iroju Ogundeji, alongside another member, Adewale Williams, have been suspended, while the Majority Leader of the House, Jamiu Maito, has resigned his appointment, following their opposition to the impeachment of the Deputy Governor of the state.

14 members of the assembly, including the Speaker, Bamidele Oleyeloogun, assented to the impeachment notice served on the deputy governor.
