By Franca Joseph (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Ahead of the September 19, 2020 Gubernatorial Poll in Edo State, former Vice President and Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 Presidential Poll, Atiku Abubakar, has implored the leadership of the party to put personal differences aside in order to come out victorious at the poll.

Atiku’s advice was made known via a statement on Saturday, July 4, 2020, by his spokesman, Paul Ibe, in which he lauded the appointments of Governor Wike and Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, as the chairman and deputy chairman of the campaign council, adding that Wike was  a committed party loyalist who had been unreserved in his support and propagation of the party’s values, saying he had the experience to lead the party to victory at the poll.
