Reps To Probe Expenditure On FG’s Skills Acquisition Programmes

By Bonita Onyeka (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – There are plans by the House of Representatives to probe the financial budgetary provisions, approvals and multilateral donations on skills acquisition and related programmes of the federal government and its agencies.

Towards this end, the lower national legislative arm has set up an Adhoc Committee, which has been mandated to submit its report in 9 weeks, to look into the matter. This comes in the wake of the moving of a motion of urgent public importance, by honourble Emmanuel Egoh, questioning the social investment programme and skills acquisition programme of the federal government.
