By Franca Joseph (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Nigeria’s Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, has refuted allegations of shielding the 10 soldiers accused of killing three policemen in Taraba State, while aborting the arrest of alleged kidnap kingpin, Wadume.
The ministers made his rebuttal while giving a brief on the case at the virtual Federal Executive Council meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari.
According to Malami, the justice ministry was ensuring that internal military procedures for the trial of cases involving military personnel were exhausted before proceeding with the judicial trial of the suspects.
