Pres. Buhari Forwards 42 Ambassadorial Nominees To Senate For Confirmation


By Olivia Isibor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has presented a list 42 ambassadorial nominees to the Senate for approval.

Out of the 42 nominees, one from the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, was nominated as career ambassador, while the rest are first-timers.

Prominent names on the list include, Admeola Seriki (Lagos), Debo Adesina, former Managing Director, The Guardian, (Oyo), Dare Sunday-Awoniyi (Kogi), alongside others nominated by the President.

Buhari also asked the Senate to confirm the appointment of three nominees as commissioners in the Federal Civil Service Commission, and the confirmation of the appointment of a federal commissioner for the Revenue Mobilisation and Fiscal Commission.
