#Security: Armed Forces, Security Agencies Receive Vehicles, Equipment From FG


(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – As part of efforts to boost security and restore positive peace in the North-East Region of Nigeria, and increase its capacity in the war on the COVID-19 pandemic, the Nigerian Government has donated logistical vehicles and equipment to the Nigeria Armed Forces and other security agencies, alongside ambulances and other medical equipment to Federal Medical Institutions / Medical Centers in the North-East Region.

Items donated include: Toyota Buffalo pick-up trucks; Toyota Hilux pick-up trucks, Ambulances, Knee Girdles, Hospital beds and Solar Fridges.

The vehicles were presented to the beneficiary Government institutions at the Government House, Maiduguri, Borno State, by Sadiya Umar Farouq, the Honourable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, on behalf of the North- East Development Commission.
