COVID-19 Lockdown: 18 LGAs To Be Locked Down To Contain Further Spread Of Infections

By Lillian Ogbonna (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – According to Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Chairman, Presidential Task Force on COVID-19,  Eighteen Local Government Areas in Nigeria, which account for about 60% of COVID-19 cases in the country, would be locked down to stem the spread of the disease to other parts of the country.

Mr. Boss Mustapha disclosed this to State House Correspondents, following submission of progress reports to President Muhammadu Buhari on the ongoing COVID-19 war in the country, adding that the lockdown would be effected by the state governments of the affected 18 local governments.
