APC Leadership: Governor Buni Takes Over From Giadom

By Franca Joseph (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The former acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Victor Giadom, has officially handed over to the chairman of the party’s Caretaker Committee, Governor Mai Mala Buni, during a ceremony held at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja, the nation’s capital, where the 13 member committee was inaugurated.

While expressing his willingness to work with the members of the committee with a view to helping them achieve their goals, Gaidom, during his remarks, lauded President Muhammadu Buhari and the leadership of the APC’c National Executive Committee for taking the decisive step that deescalated the crisis in the party.

Governor Buni of Yobe State, while making his own remarks, urged all disgruntled members of the party to sheath their swords by honouring the pronouncements of President Buhari, expressing the hope that the setting up of the Caretaker Committee would usher in a new era of prosperity for the party.
