Oshiomhole Will Remain A Father In The APC – Gov Bello

By Lilian Ogbonna (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The recent issues that culminated in the dissolution of the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), following an emergency meeting of the party’s National Executive Council (NEC), was not because Adam Oshiomhole, former Chariman of the NWC, had offended anybody in the party.

This was the view of Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, who was speaking while featuring as a guest on Channels Television’s Politics Today, where he commended Mr. Oshiomhole for having done his best for the party, adding that he would remain a father of the party by continuing to help strengthen the party.

On reports making the rounds that the crisis in the party was the handiwork of some governors, Bello repudiated such a suggestion as being irrational and unfounded as the problem the party had was a “disagreement” and not a “crisis”.

Bello lauded President Muhammadu Buhari, for being a leader who gave ears to all parties in a conflict, expressing his optimism that APC would emerge stronger from the its recent troubles.
