APC Needs Tinubu, He Has Paid His Dues – Gov Bello

By Franca Joseph (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Following insinuations in some quarters that the dissolution of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC),  following an Emergency meeting of the party’s National Executive Council (NEC), was aimed at undermining one of the national leaders of the party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has repudiated such suggestions, saying that Tinubu remained the ruling party’s father.

Bello said this while speaking as a guest on Channels Television’s Politics Today, where he aired his views on the crisis in the APC that resulted in the sacking of the party’s NWC by the NEC.

According to Bello, attempts by some persons to interpret recent happenings in the party as attempts to undermine Tinubu were unfounded as Tinubu had paid his dues as an elder statesman in the party and could not be undermined by anybody, adding that the party needed his fatherly inputs.
