Nnamdi Kanu Slammed Fake Pastors, Not Christianity — IPOB

By Lilian Ogbonna (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Following allegations in some quarters of anti-Christian sentiments, the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has stated that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, its arrow head, was not opposed to Christianity, but fake pastors and self-acclaimed men of God in Nigeria who refused to publicly condemn the uncensored slaughtering of Christians in Nigeria.

According to IPOB, in a statement by its spokesman, Emma Powerful, Kanu was brought up in a Christian home and could not be said to be anti-Christian, or opposed to any religion for that matter, adding that what he was opposed to was the silence by the country’s Christian leadership in the face of “the evil of extermination of a particular religious group through state sponsored terrorism”.

The IPOB statement added that Mazi Kanu has respect for true men of God who “Have not compromised their divine mandate”, and not for wolves in sheep clothing, who were more preoccupied with fleecing the members of their “brainwashed” congregations of their tithes and offerings, adding that it was on record, as confirmed by the Nigerian Government,  that IPOB had defended Christianity more than any Christian group or individual in the country, as over 80% of the content of Kanu’s message on Twitter is about persecuted Christians.

IPOB reiterated the “unwavering” commitment of Mazi Kanu to the actualization of his “divine assignment to liberate Biafrans and also every suffering Nigerian”, urging that “everybody must therefore, support his ongoing expository effort which is a mandate from God Almighty”.
