Wike Withdraws From Edo PDP Reconciliation Efforts

By Lilian Ogbonna (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Nyesom Wike, the Rivers State Governor, has withdrawn his participation in the reconciliation efforts of the Edo State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Wike disclosed this via a media chat in Port Harcourt, the state capital, where he slammed some members of the party’s National Working Committee(NWC) of being sycophants and money mongers who were averse to truth, saying that instead of carrying everybody along, the NWC resorted to blackmailing him, using the media.

Proceeding, the governor said he had ordered his lawyers to write ThisDay Newspapers on the allegation made against him in their Tuesday, June 23, 2020, edition.
