COVID-19 BRIEFS: Nigeria Records 452 Fresh Cases, Taking Total Number of Infections to 21, 371.

By Franca Joseph (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, that Nigeria has recorded 8 fresh COVID-19 deaths, and 452 new cases, taking total number of infections to 21, 371.

Breakdown of the fresh cases, which are spread across 13 states, including Abuja, according to the NCDC, are as follows: Lagos-209, Oyo-67, Delta-37 cases, Ogun-36, Abia-20, Enugu-16, Bauchi-15, Kaduna-8, Ondo-8, Osun-3, Benue-3, Imo-3, Abuja-22, and Borno-1.

According to the NCDC, 7, 338 patients have been discharged, while 533 fatalities have been recorded since the outbreak of the disease.
