Agboola Ajayi, Ondo State Deputy Governor, Dumps APC For PDP

By Lilian Ogbonna (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Agboola Ajayi, the Ondo State Deputy Governor, on Sunday, June 21, 2020, dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) at his country home in Kiribo, Ward 2, Apoi, in Ese-Odo Local Government Area of the state, to join the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Mr Ajayi’ resignation, which came in the wake of reports of his being barred from exiting the State House, Akure, the capital city, by Bolaji Salami, the state’s Commissioner of Police, has put to rest rumours of his planned exit from the party.

The former Deputy Governor while picking up his PDP membership card at his ward, said he was happy to be back to his former party.
