The Greatest Menace To Buhari’s Legacy Is The APC – Odigie Oyegun

By Olivia Joseph (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Chief Odigie Oyegun, the immediate former National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has accused the party of constituting the greatest threat to President Muhammadu Buhari’s legacy.

Oyegun, who spoke via a statement on Saturday, June 20, 2020, called for the convoking of an urgent special national convention before things got out of hand, saying that a party that was established by the sacrifices of true patriots, could not just be allowed to disintegrate.

The ruling APC is currently embroiled in a leadership crisis, following the suspension of its National Chairman by the Court of Appeal in Abuja, which upheld his earlier suspension by a High Court, alongside the factional war in the Edo State Chapter that has resulted in the recent defection of Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, a member of its National working Committee (NWC), to the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
