(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Juventus are interested in signing Wolves striker Raul Jimenez with Real Madrid and Manchester United also eyeing up the Mexican international.
Jimenez’ agent, Jorge Mendes, has a relationship with the Series A giants as he helped facilitate the deal for client Cristiano Ronaldo to join from Madrid two years ago. Mendes has also been heavily involved with Wolverhampton’s deals over the last few seasons.
However, Juventus are said to be put off by the Premier League club’s asking price of £54million for their star frontman, according to Calcio Mercato.
Juve are looking for a new striker to replace the ageing Gonzalo Higuain and are showing interest in the Mexican after they were put off by Napoli’s £40million asking price for Arkadiusz Milik.
Jimenez initially joined the Midlands-based club on loan from Benfica and made his move permanent last summer for a fee of £37million.
He has had another impressive season under Nuno Espirito Santo’s management, with 22 goals and ten assists from 44 matches in all competitions.
His performances have also caught the eye of other European giants with Real Madrid and Manchester United monitoring the 29-year-old.
