Edo APC Crisis: Oshiomhole’s Suspension Has Not Been Lifted – Ward Chairman

By Olivia Isibor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The membership status of suspended All Progressive Congress (APC) National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, remains hazy, following conflicting declarations by the party’s executive members in Ward 10, Etsako West Local Government Area (LGA), as the ward chairman, Stephen Oshawo, is insisting that the suspension of Oshiomhole, who is from Ward 10, has not been lifted, contrary to the announcement of a faction of the party led by the Secretary, Emuakemeh Sule, that the suspension had been lifted.

According to the chairman, no decision had been taken on Oshiomhole’s suspension, stressing that apart from the chairman, no other member of the ward could make such an announcement, adding that the party’s ward 10 executive members would remain with the APC, despite the defection of Governor Godwin Obaseki to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

The chairman was reacting to the announcement by the Ward 10 Secretary of the party Emuakemeh Sule, at the party’s National Secretariat, Abuja that oshiomhole’s suspension had been lifted, following a reappraisal of the suspension order by the ward’s executive members.
