Global COVD-19 Fatalities Exceed 450,000


By Amechi Idumuebor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Over 450,000 COVID-19 fatalities have been recorded across the world, following the outbreak of the pandemic in China’s Wuhan District, late in 2019, as the number of deaths from the virus doubled in a space of a month and a half.

According to an AFP computation, Europe has been the hardest-hit continent, with 190,120 deaths from 2,469,242 infections, but the pandemic is now spreading most rapidly in Latin America, which has recorded 86,706 deaths from 1,840,488 cases.
