Profiling Lagos State’s Free Academy For Youths In Creative Industry
By Franca Joseph (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) tweeted yesterday, June 18, 2020, that the country had recorded 745 new cases of COVID-19, the highest single-day infections since the outbreak of the disease in Nigeria.
Breakdown of the fresh figures of the virus, according to the NCDC, is as follows: Lagos (280), Oyo (103), Ebonyi (72), FCT (60); Imo (46); Edo (34); Delta (33); Rivers (25); Kaduna (23); Ondo (16); Katsina (12); Kano (10); Bauchi (8); and Borno (7), Kwara (5); Gombe (4); Sokoto (2); Enugu (2); Yobe (1) Osun (1); Nasarawa (1).
Of the total number of recorded cases, 6,307 have been discharged, having fully recovered from the ailment, while 475 fatalities have been suffered since the outbreak of the disease, according to available information from the NCDC.
