PDP Expresses Worry Over Ugly Incident In Aso Rock

By Lilian Ogbonna (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Former ruling and incumbent opposition party, the People’s Democratic Party, has reacted to trending reports about the firing of gunshots within the Villa’s confines, as a grand breach of security.

The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Kola Ologbondiyan, via a signed statement, expressed the party’s concern at the unsavory occurrence at the nation’s seat of power.

According to the PDP’s statement, the party was greatly disturbed by trending reports of the incident in the Presidential Villa involving the First Lady’s security detail who resorted to the use of fire arms in attempts to forcefully remove an aide of the president from the villa, adding that the development, which was a reckless and irresponsible breach of security at the nation’s seat of power, and a demonstration of the porosity of the security superstructure in the Presidency, had created unnecessary apprehension in the public.
