#CSR: Rivers State Government Receives Donated Bus, Medical Supplies, From Eroton

(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The COVID-19 war efforts of the Rivers State Government have been further boosted by an indigenous oil firm, Eroton Exploration and Production Company, which has donated a 16-seater bus and medical supplies in aid of the state’s war war efforts.

Apart from the bus, medical supplies donated by Eroton, which included 6,000 face masks and oxygen concentrators, the company had earlier provided food palliatives, surgical masks and other items to its host communities and the independent petroleum producers.

The items were presented to the Rivers State Government at the state’ warehouse in Port Harcourt, by Eroton’s Operations Manager, Mr. Emmanuel Thompson, who said stated that the donation was part of the company’s support for the state government’s ongoing war against the COVID-19 pandemic and its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to its host state.

Secretary to State Government, Dr. Tammy Dagogo, who received the items on behalf of Governor Wike, lauded Eroton for its support for the government, promising that Eroton and other company’s domiciled in the state that supported the state’s COVID-19 efforts will be officially recognised.
