Profiling Lagos State’s Free Academy For Youths In Creative Industry
By Olivia Isibor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Tuesday, June 9, 2020, confirmed that Nigeria has recorded 663 new cases of COVID-19, the highest daily figures since the outbreak of the virus in the country, taking the total number of infections in the country to 13,464.
Breakdown of the new cases, which has Lagos topping the log, is as follows: Lagos-170, Ogun-108, Bauchi-69, Ebonyi-49, Edo (33), Rivers (30), FCT (29), Jigawa (26) and Delta (20), Anambra (17), Gombe (16), Kano (16), Imo (15), Abia (14), Borno (11), Oyo (11), Plateau (8), Kebbi (6), Kaduna (6), Ondo (4),Niger-2, Katsina- 2, Osun-1, Ekiti-1, Kwara-1, Nasarawa-1.
Out of the total national figures so far recorded, 4,206 patients have been discharged from the country’s several isolation centres, following full recoveries from the ailment, while 365 fatalities have been recorded since the outbreak of the pandemic in Nigeria.
