By Olivia Isibor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Kenneth Imasuagbon (alias Rice Man), one of the candidates seeking the ticket of the Edo State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to contest in the forthcoming September, 2020, gubernatorial election, has proclaimed that he has been ordained by God to be the next governor of the state.
Imasuagbon, poplularly known as the “rice man”, due to his seasonal practice of distributing bags of rice to the poor and vulnerable in the state, was speaking as a guest on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics.
According to Imasuagbon, God had told him that he was going to be the next Edo State Governor, assuring him that no man born of a woman could stop him from mounting the leadership saddle in Dennis Osadebe Avenue.
The philanthropist added that he would not stop vying for the Edo State Governorship Tiara until he achieved his goal, saying it was his destiny to govern Edo State, vowing not to stop until he reached his goal.
On why he thought he had the credentials to pick the PDP ticket, Imasuagbon said his matchless pedigree made him the right candidate for the party, adding that that the impact his philanthropic gestures have had on the lives of the people would give him an edge over the other aspirants vying for the PDP ticket.
