States Critical In Managing Second Phase Of Lockdown – Boss Mustapha

By Olivia Isibor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – State Governments have crucial roles to play in managing the second phase of lockdown, according to Boss Mustapha, Chairman, Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 and Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), who said this via a statement during a routine press briefing of the task force in Abuja on Thursday, June 4, 2020.

The SGF urged the public to continue adhering to the guidelines and protocols for worship centers, which, according to him, was crucial to the success of ongoing efforts to check the further spread of the virus in the country, adding that the taskforce would be monitoring compliance with all guidelines across the country, and would not hesitate to review its decisions, if constrained to do so, advising Nigerians to continue cooperating with the government  and health authorities in attempts to flatten the curve.
