COVID-19 BRIEFS: Nigeria Records 350 Fresh Cases, Taking Total Infections To 11,516

By Franca Joseph (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced on its verified Twitter handle, on Thurday, June 4, 2020, that Nigeria had recorded 350 fresh cases of COVID-19, taking total infections to 11, 516, despite efforts to flatten the curve of the pandemic.

Breakdown of the fresh cases, which cuts across 19 states of the federation, including the FCT, are as follows: Lagos-102, Ogun-34, FCT-29, Borno-26, Kaduna-23, Rivers-21, Ebonyi-17, Kwara -16, Katsina-14, Edo-10, Delta-10, Kano-10, Bauchi-10, Bayelsa-9, Imo-8, Plateau-4, Ondo-3, Nasarawa-2, Gombe-1, Oyo-1.

Out of the country’s total infections of 11,516, a total of 3,535 patients have been discharged, having recovered, while 323 fatalities have been suffered since the outbreak of the pandemic.
