By Olivia Joseph (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – I am battling a grand conspiracy against me by my former acquaintances prior to becoming a governor, says Gov. Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State. The governor made the disclosure on Saturday, May 30, 2020, during a media chat as part of activities to mark his first year in office.
According to Mohammed, he was being opposed on several fronts by persons he had worked with in the past, adding, however, that the people’s faith in him had kept him going, despite attempts by these detractors to frustrate his efforts.
Adding that he had he had no ‘god-father’, Mohammed said that he was not inclined to political considerations in the discharge of his duties, stating that most of the projects started by his administration were funded with the N11 billion recovered and handed over to his administration by the Economic and Financial crimes Commission (EFCC).
