(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Tammy Abraham has been watching old videos of himself as part of his bid to stay motivated during the coronavirus lockdown.
Like players up and down the country, Chelsea striker Abraham has had a little more time than usual on his hands since football was suspended in mid-March.
But he has tried to put it to good use and explained that re-watching his best bits online and analysing his game was one of the methods he has used to stay occupied.Tammy Abraham reveals how he’s been staying motivated amid lockdown.
In an interview alongside Three Lions teammate Joe Gomez about lockdown life as part of the #ApartButTogether campaign between England’s partners Head & Shoulders and mental health charity Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), Abraham said: ‘We just have to stay fit.
‘I’ve been playing football around the house, running, doing a bit of gym just to try and stay motivated and even if that’s going on YouTube and typing up my old clips and watching my old videos just little things like that I’ve been doing just to stay motivated.’
Abraham would have had plenty of goals to get through having scored 75 in 164 senior games for Bristol City, Swansea, Aston Villa and now Chelsea.
