‘Buhari Has Not Upturned Memos, Reversed Kyari’s Appointments’ – Presidency Reacts To Kyari Report

Bonita Onyeka (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Trending allegations that President Muhammadu Buhari has cancelled about 115 memos and upturned appointments made by Abba Kyari, His late Chief of Staff are bogus and false, says the Presidency.  

Presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu, disclosed the Presidency’s thoughts on the matter via series of tweets on his verified handle.

According to Shehu, there was no modicum of truth in the said reports as the president was fully in charge of his office, which would never be ceded to anybody or cabal, urging Nigerians to discountenance the said reports.

There had been media speculations earlier in the week suggesting that Professor Ibrahim Gambari, the new Chief of Staff to the Presidency might have been ordered by the President to cancel some appointments made  by his predecessor, the late Abba Kyari.
