Ventilators Manufactured By The Nigerian Air Force Ready For Use – CAS

Franca Joseph (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Ventilators manufactured by Nigerian Air Force (NAF) engineers and experts from the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, are ready for use in the treatment of COVID-19 and other respiratory infections in Nigeria, according to the Chief of Air Staff, Sadique Abubakar, who disclosed this on Monday, May 25, 2020.

The CAS made the disclosure during a Sallah luncheon at the headquarters of Air Task Force Operation Lafiya Dole, in Maiduguri, Borno State capital, where frontline troops of the NAF were hosted.

Abubakar  urged personnel of the NAF to remain vigilant as the country was involved in the fight against seen and unseen enemies in the molds of Boko Harm and COVID-19, which he called the “invisible enemy of humanity”. He revealed that NAF had provided face masks, Personal Protect Equipment (PPEs)  and ventilators to its medical centre in Abuja, as part of its support for the ongoing efforts to stem the further spread of COVID-19 in the country.
