Governor Wike Vindicated As Manager Of Demolished Hotel Tests Positive For COVID-19

Lilian Ogbonna (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The action of Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, which saw the demolition of Prodest Hotel, Eleme, for violating Executive Order 7 temporarily banning the operation of hotels amid efforts to stem the further spread of COVID-19 in the state, seems to have been vindicated with the confirmation that the Manager of the hotel was among the 27 recently confirmed cases of COVID-19 infections in the state.

This was disclosed by Paulinus Nsirim, Rivers State Commissioner for Information and Communication.

Prodest Hotel had been demolished two weeks ago by the COVID-19 Task force members, following the violation of Executive Order 7 temporarily banning the operation of hotels, by its owners.
