69 Stranded Nigerians Evacuated From Lebanon – Geoffrey Onyeama


Amechi Idumuebor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) –More Nigerians stranded abroad consequent to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic have been evacuated, as Fifty female victims of human trafficking and 19 other persons stranded in Lebanon, were flown back to Nigeria on Sunday, May 24, 2020.

Nigeria’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Geoffrey Onyeama, who made the announcement, lauded the Lebanese Government and community in Nigeria for their financial and logistical support which helped in facilitating the return of the Nigerian nationals
