#COVID-19 Update: Total Infections In Nigeria Now 6,401, As 226 New Cases Are Recorded

(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Tuesday, May 19, 2020, announced that the country had recorded 226 new cases of the COVID-19, taking the country’s total number of infections to 6,401.

Breakdown of the new COVID-19 cases in Nigeria are as follows: 131-Lagos, 25-Ogun, 15-Plateau, Edo-11 cases, Kaduna-7, Oyo-6, FCT-5, Adamawa-5, Jigawa -4, Ebonyi-4, Borno-4, Nasarawa-3, Bauchi-2, Gombe-2, Enugu-2, and Bayelsa-2.

Since the outbreak of the pandemic, 1,734 patients have been discharged, following their recovery from the virus, while 192 fatalities have been suffered by the country.
