Profiling Lagos State’s Free Academy For Youths In Creative Industry

(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Consequent to their alleged complicity in land-related disputes, five traditional monarchs in Benue State have been suspended by Benue State Governor, Emmanuel Ortom.
The suspended traditional rulers include: two district heads and three kindred heads. District Head of Uvir Council Ward of Guma Local Government Area, District Head of Ikov, Samuel Iorhule, Kindred head of Shilagh, Joseph Yar, Kindred head of Uninge, Aanger Ortese and Samuel Ayayo who is the Kindred head of Unyande, James Abu, who was among those suspended, was immediately handed over to the Police for further investigation.
The multiple suspensions were part of the decisions taken at the end of the first Tiv tribe Security and Stakeholders meeting, attended by 14 Tiv Speaking Local Government Areas, in Makurdi, the state capital, Monday, May 18, 2020.
The suspended leaders were accused of aiding, abetting and protecting the violent conduct of their youths.
