#COVID-19 Update: Total Infections In Nigeria Now 5,621, As NCDC Announces 176 New Cases

(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) announced on its verified twitter handle, on Saturday, May 16, 2020, that Nigeria has recorded 176 fresh cases of the COVID-19, taking the national total to 5,621.

Breakdown of the latest COVID-19 figures is as follows: 95-Lagos, 31-Oyo, Abuja-11, Niger-8, Borno-8, Jigawa-6, Kaduna-4, Anambra-3, Edo-2, Rivers-2, Nasarawa-2, Bauchi-2, Benue-1 and Zamfara-1.

1,472 patients have been discharged, while 176 fatalities have been recorded in the country since the outbreak of the pandemic.
