By Olivia Isibor, For Agenda Watchdog, May 13, 2020

(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The First Lady of Anambra State, Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano, brought tears of joy to the eyes of two widows in Ananmbra State, Mrs. Ifeoma Ogbuanukwu and Mrs. Monica Okeke, both of Umuehi village, Akwaihedi in Nnewi South Local Government and Ezihu Village, Igboukwu in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State respectively. The widows were recipients of two brand new bungalows.

Mrs. Obiano personally handed over the keys to the new buildings to the visibly overjoyed women. The house gifts was part of the several empowerment projects of the first lady’s  Caring Family Enhancement Initiative (CAFE), a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), committed to the betterment of the lives of Anambra women, especially widows.

CAFÉ is committed to the provision of better living standards for the poor and vulnerable members of the society, especially women, children and the physically challenged.
