#COVID-19 Update: Total Infections Now 4,787, As Nigeria Records 146 Fresh Cases

(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has confirmed that Nigeria has recorded 146 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total confirmed number of infections in the country to 4,787. The agency disclosed this in a tweet on Tuesday, May 12, 2020.

Breakdown of the new cases are as follows: 57- Lagos, 27-Kano, 10-Kwara, 9- Edo, 8- Bauchi, 7-Yobe, 4-Kebbi, 4-Oyo, Katsina-3, Niger-3, Plateau-2, Borno-2, Sokoto-2, Benue-2, Gombe-1, Enugu-1, Ebonyi-1, Ogun-1, FCT-1, and Rivers-1.

959 patients have been discharged, having recovered, while a total of 158 fatalities have been recorded in the country so far since the outbreak of the pandemic.
