#CSR: DPR Donates PPEs To Lagos State

(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Lagos State Government has received Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs) from the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) in support of its ongoing war on the COVID-19 pandemic in the state.

Items contributed include 1000 units of face mask, 1000 units of protective boots, 1000 units of coverall protective gowns, 1000 units of hand gloves, 1000 units of disposable bags and other protective materials.

The DPR’s generous gesture, according to the Director/CEO, Department of Petroleum Resources, Engr. Sarki Auwalu, represented by the Head, Public Affairs DPR, Mr. Paul OSU, was part of its corporate strategy for providing support for frontline health workers battling the COVID-19 pandemic. He assured that the DPR will continuing lending its support as the war on the virus continues to gather momentum, extolling the Lagos State Government on a job well done so far and urging all the stakeholders to remain focused on the challenges ahead.  

Receiving the donated items from the DPR, on behalf of the Lagos State Government, Mr Gboyega Soyannwo, Deputy Chief of Staff to Lagos State Governor,  Babajide Sanwo-Olu, offered appreciation on behalf of the state government, promising that the materials would be put to judicious use.
