#COVID-19 Update: Total Infections In Nigeria Now 2802, As 245 New Cases Are Recorded

(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday, May 4, 2020, announced on its verified twitter handle that Nigeria has recorded 245 new cases of COVID-19, taking the country’s total infections to 2,802.

According to the NCDC, the distribution of the new figures is as follows: 76-Lagos, 37-Katsina, 32-Jigawa, 23-Kano, 19-FCT, 18-Borno, 10-Edo, 9-Bauchi, 6-Adamawa, 5- Oyo, 5-Ogun, 1-Ekiti, 1-Osun, 1-Benue, 1-Niger and 1-Zamfara

The number of total fatalities is 93, while 417 patients have been discharged.
