(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The BUA Foundation, the philanthropic arm of BUA Group, has announced the donation of N300 million to the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 to help facilitate the purchase of operational materials and offset other logistical costs. Also, Kwara, Kaduna, Ekiti, Rivers have each received N100 million, while Lagos has received N200 million from the foundation.
BUA’s latest contribution to the country’s COVID-19 efforts is distinct from its N1 billion donation to the private sector driven CACOVID fund, N3.3Billion to equip 2 existing permanent health facilities in Kano and Lagos States, and N100 million each donated to Sokoto, Ogun and Edo States to support the ongoing COVID-19 efforts.
Apart from the preceding donations, BUA has also made a N3.3Billion grant to equip 2 existing permanent health facilities in Kano and Lagos States – whilst collaborating with the teaching hospitals in those states. This will further strengthen the efforts of key stakeholders in the fight against the pandemic in Nigeria
