#COVID-19 Update: Total Infections In Nigeria Now 1,728, As The Country Records 196 New Cases

(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The total number of COVID-19 cases in Nigeria has risen to 1, 728, as 196 new cases of the virus was recorded on Wednesday, April 29, 2020. This was the disclosure of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via a tweet on its verified handle.

Out of the fresh infections, Lagos had 87, Kano-24,Gombe-18, Kaduna-17, Abuja- 16, Katsina-10, Sokoto-8, Edo-7, Borno-6, Yobe-1, Ebonyi-1 and Adamawa-1.

307 patients have been discharged from the various isolation centres in the country, having recovered, while 51 fatalities have been recorded so far.
