COVID-19: We Are Monitoring Our Land Borders – Gov Ugwuanyi

(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – In further moves to check the spread of #COVID-19 in Enugu State, Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, on Thursday, April 23, 2020 toured some of the state’s land boundaries (with Benue and Kogi States) to observe compliance with the lockdown and restriction of inter-state transportation order issued by his government.

Commending the security agencies for their efforts in ensuring compliance with the restriction of movement order, the governor charged the security team at the Obollo- Afor axis to remain steadfast in their duties, saying: “I must commend you on your efforts so far, but we want a total and water-tight lockdown of this land boundaries, henceforth, except for those on essential duties’’.
